bosstrabs alistair I also think Rodgers has a body of work and a history of working with young players that merits consideration. Rodgers is a very good coach in this regard, he just seems to utterly fail when he has to sell key players and try to buy to replace them (see Suarez at Liverpool)

The amount of times I’ve seen commentators butcher Alphonso Davies last name and call him Davis, or even Jonathan David and vice versa is pretty high. I’ve even seen it happen to Davies during the Bundesliga English feed games (always an Englishman paired with a German speaking English) when he plays for Bayern.
