The amount of times I’ve seen commentators butcher Alphonso Davies last name and call him Davis, or even Jonathan David and vice versa is pretty high. I’ve even seen it happen to Davies during the Bundesliga English feed games (always an Englishman paired with a German speaking English) when he plays for Bayern.
