i recorded my radio show last night. i don’t typically mix my shows, but rather just play tracks and make semi accurate statements about them over the air. however last night’s show was a kind of mix of sorts so i decided to post it up on soundcloud. most of the other djs were doing pro protest shows all week, and as the only electronic, let alone techno, show on the station i felt compelled to do the same. its a mix of 90s detroit style techno, hip hop and drum & bass with other weird shit mixed in. i mixed it with two pioneer plx 1000s, an akai apc40, and ableton live. my vinyl skills are a little rusty, but i think it came out ok, but don’t expect the standard shimmering keyed vortex of tunes that make you breathlessly utter zackster. anyways, give it a listen if you’re board and want something eclectic. it’s basically just like millsy’s lullaby mix.
