I’m not sure if we behave this way abroad, but Indians in India are notorious for cutting lines. Now take that mentality and multiply it by 10X with an upward mobile middle class who have bought their first cars after a generation of travelling on motorbikes and scooters, and rikshaw drivers who have graduated to cab drivers for Uber etc - and that is what mostly makes up the debilitating nightmare that is Indian traffic.
Thankfully I work from home, so I usually get into my car only twice a week.
