They killed the Leftfield genres. Now I have to wade through the likes of Stanton Warriors and Grime and Dubstep shit to find the music I like. The behemoth cunts.

I can’t stand the bastards…..even their files are naff.

Currently has a Mark E release on Spectral Sounds from 2013 under “My Beatport” for new releases.

    Omnishambles.

‘Follows’ are slowly coming back but Pre-orders are still missing. 🙄

Keep an eye on your cart when checking out peeps. The numbers don’t add up and when you refresh the page tracks reappear that you have taken out. Reckon you can easily get charged for ‘ghost tracks’ that should have been removed.

What a fucking mess. ’Bout ready to just bin them completely. But their user interface and the ability to track by favorites is far better than anyone else. But a non-functional site, which Beatport frankly is right now, serves no purpose. And it’s been over a week. Utter embarrassment.

I’d be livid if I was a label or artist, already struggling, without these cunts mucking everything up through abject incompetence.

jonattonyeah Agreed. Although it’s been a month at this stage and no real sign of a fix. I thought my favourites were coming back but the list has dwindled again. Shambolic.

That long?!?!?! I guess I wasn’t paying much attention. That’s just a joke in 2021. Retards.

I used to enjoy checking out the “Recommended List” that BP would compile based off whatever you had sitting in your main cart, but it’s clear that that particular functionality isn’t a priority anymore. It’s transitioned more to a random selection of whatever the hell they see fit to match to the release date(s) and genres of the tracks already in your cart.

Half my purchases/ pre-orders available today won’t download. Tracks I’ve just added to the cart say I’ve purchased them before, but I haven’t. Total mess 🙁

I’m not purchasing a thing until I know it’s fully fixed. All my follows seem to have returned which is encouraging.

Didn’t realize how much I depended the my artist & label-follows there to find new music before this happened. It’s been real work finding new music to play these past weeks.

Agreed. The quality control and the genre definitions in BP isn’t great - not that I think it’s their fault. Wading through that without the follows is next to impossible. Still think BP is the best of the bunch so it’ll be good once they get their issues sorted.

As an EDIT, much of what’s in my new release section now falls under “DANCE / ELECTRO POP”. What? A Dense & Pika album (sound pretty good despite not liking the majority of their releases) and a Denham Audio remix? Can’t even imagine digging through that genre.

As an FYI, their track update goes back weeks. There’s a lot of in-fill from dates like 2/19 that you might’ve thought you’ve already seen.

Wasily switch browser mate and try again. I’ve had this before on chrome, so went back into beatport via firefox and was able to download again. I’ve often found you can download the same track (on the same day) more than once from multiple platforms

Homegrove Charts mate, it’s all about the charts on BP. Let someone else do the leg work.
