New John Mulaney-special on Netflix April 25th. Should be interesting at least considering what all happened to him during the pandemic.

Homegrove Life worked out for him, unadulterated honey for a wife and a cute asian baby to boot.

Also massive relapse on his addictions, intervention with a bunch of great comedians, rehab, and leaving his wife for Olivia Munn. Also having a baby with her right away after being publicly childfree with the previous wife.

Off to see Stewart Lee this evening. He’s alright at that comedy lark.

We’ve been watching lots of Bill Burr and Chappelle lately, all new to the missus and she loves them. She went with Wanda Sykes latest last night and I shuddered but it was actually very funny.

LT42 Sykes is old school, and very good. This is free on Youtube and really good.

This is a pretty perfect bit on Will Smith, Jada, and the slap. Hilarious. Looking forward to his special.

A mate went to see Mickey Flanagan last night and said he was absolutely awful. Best days behind him and still selling out shows.

LT42 went to see him last week. Not sure I would agree he was awful but would agree he isn’t as funny as he used to be.

Everyone has an off night I suppose

He did fluff his lines a few times and there wasn’t much stand out like there has in previous outings.

Direct quote - “Jesus Flanagan is one boring man.”

The majority of the screenshots, at first, I thought, are just whatever. ordinary gibberish from neckbeards. The internet is an awful place, not to justify it. Then, that video from 14 years ago… terrible. After that, things only get worse.

No clue who this guy was, it auto-played and youtube - tight set, and hilarious:

Just back from Jim Jefferies in Helsinki. Very good, much better than his new special, though I liked that one too. While others here didn’t. All new material, except for one line in a joke.

The Marlon Wayans special might just be the best stand up I’ve seen all year. Was in tears, and it just doesn’t let up. Don’t watch the clip I’ve posted earlier in this thread, ruins it. All I’ll say is that the entire thing is cantered around the Oscar slap, and it doesn’t get tedious.
