alistair jonattonyeah I’d argue he was a better actor than they are. Those guys were often playing variations of themselves as entertaining as they were. Their cool charisma made them more iconic
jonattonyeah alistair Agreed. Hurt never quite had that truely iconic role like a Scarface or a Raging Bull or a One Flew. He just nailed part after part after part. Broadcast News is an incredible film but it’s not exactly in the zeitgeist when people bring up ’80’s movies.
