Actually, at a stretch, I’m a Plump DJ
The RIP thread
I was thinking of Annie Mac

RIP indeed. The great thing about Annie was the amount of music she supported over the years, and the variety of music she played in a BBC radio show for the many years she was there. She was like the pirate radio DJ on a mainstream station based on what she played. She supported electronic music hugely, and I loved her show (whenever it was) after the essential mix.
How I wish I could love a job until I was 82 and then pop my clogs. Annie you are a legend
Good excuse to post this
As it was on her show, obviously
Smallman1 I’d just got in from seeing Kenny Carpenter p
@Mad_Cyril That’s Kenny (he/his) not Karen (RIP) just in case…
Silent Servant has passed.
It seems the cause of death was an accidental overdose. Also dead his wife Simone, aka The Soft Moon. Fentanyl claims more people again.

Just seen this. Damn.
Homegrove It seems the cause of death was an accidental overdose. Also dead his wife Simone, aka The Soft Moon. Fentanyl claims more people again.
You’re incorrect about at least some of this and clearly misread the article.
It’s actually three people who have died in the same incident: John Juan Mendez aka Silent Servant, his girlfriend Simone Ling, and Luis Vasquez aka The Soft Moon (TSM is not Simone).
I was really in to this track of his:
Also, although there’s a rumour that the cause was cocaine laced with fentanyl, there seem to be a fair few people disputing the credibility of that claim (albeit, no other alternative cause has as yet been put forward by those casting doubt).
Re Silent Servant: accidentally OD due to kitchen sink laced with Fentanyl. Given to the group by a promoter.
Stay safe out there whilst kitchen sinking it chaps
You can buy testing strips, fyi. I had a friend die from coke laced with fent last year. She and her husband got a bag on vacation. He woke up and she was brain dead on the floor next to him. Two young kids now without a mom. Super scary.
