Yeah, the last lot that made people carry cards around to identify themselves WERE THE NAZIS!

Maybe some sort of star symbol worn on the arm?

Millsy Maybe some sort of star symbol worn on the arm?

Kitchen sink pin badge if you’re allowed to kitchen sink it.

hugopal if you don’t want the vaccine, roll the dice, I don’t give a flying fuck about them.

I’d imagine the choice the will be taken out of our hands for international travel regardless of what the UK does.

bosstrabs Kitchen sink pin badge if you’re allowed to kitchen sink it.

          Lol, proper order!

Yes, I’d imagine this is likely. Countries and even airlines refusing to take/carry the non-vaccinated.

Or at the very least huge inconvenience that you can walk straight into a country if vaccinated but are forced to do quarantine if not vaccinated.

alistair actually elicits some sympathy for Hancock!

Morgan is a bottom feeder of the worst kind, but I’m not sure I would go as far as that. Virtually nobody else has held them accountable to any great degree, and they’ll be looking to white wash the record with the ‘vaccine success’ over the next few years, we’ll need more of Morgan in the coming years. Amazing, and repulsive, but true.

bosstrabs airlines refusing to take/carry the non-vaccinated.

I reckon Ryanair would carry ebola patients to a leper colony if they all agreed to buy a scratch card in flight.

Amps problem is that ministers won’t come on GMTV if they are beaten up on national tv and not allowed to get a word in edgeways. I wouldn’t subject myself to that every week no matter how much I was being paid.

alistair I wouldn’t subject myself to that every week no matter how much I was being paid.

Ministers aren’t paid that much, around £140,000 isn’t it? That’s about a CEO salary for a UK SME:
                https://www.glassdoor.co.uk/Salaries/chief-executive-salary-SRCH_KO0,15.htm

To be honest I wouldn’t want that job full stop. Being minister of state for a large government department is easily chief executive levels of pressure and hours, but with greater public visibility/scrutiny, added to that people who will viscerally hate you because of your party allegiance.

Plus there’s no way you can let your guard down e.g. a heavy night out with the lads or a weekend with a couple of brasses, because the media are lurking.

alistair Agreed, but their absence is very much noticed by a lot of middle England.

They fuckin love it though, power mad psychos the lot of them. I wouldn’t want it either, but they proper buzz off it.

bosstrabs yep agreed. Fuck that shit. Plus the media delving around in your past. I would last a week.

Millsy Also, you take a battering for every perceived ‘luxury’ that would be common to a CEO:

                    First class travel.
Using a fleet car for personal use.
Lobbing a couple of bottles of wine at dinner on the expense account.
Keeping a young intern as an under-desk fluffer.

Millsy Fuck that shit. Plus the media delving around in your past. I would last a week.

Not necessarily, Boris’ background is a shocker.

Millsy I would last a week.

Reckon you would have to do it like Trump did, say you are an open book, warts n all, done everything they say I did and don’t care.

bosstrabs it’s not a huge salary no, but the final salary pension and expenses are excellent, not to mention all of those lucrative directorships you can amass at a time of your choosing. I still wouldn’t subject myself to Morgan berating me every week

Amps I don’t think it’s too far out to envisage a scenario in future whereby the government claims to have discovered a possible new dangerous strain of covid which requires everyone to get a booster jab and have it on their card, but then ensures that say those in opposition voting areas are slower in getting the vaccine.

Or a step beyond that, even declaring that persona non grata individuals should be put at the bottom of priority lists.

Perhaps once they’ve introduced such cards for the initial claimed purpose of showing covid immunity, they might suddenly decide to start adding additional information to them.

I’m not saying that it’s def going to happen, but it is bringing up the possibility of something similar to the CCP’s system developing.
