There are so many. Here’s four

Jeff Buckley - Grace
Outkast - Speakerboxx
Sonic Youth - Daydream nation
My Bloody Valentine - Loveless

It says of all time Alistair. No one gives a shit about any of them. No fucker would have heard any of them to know if they were overrated or not.

      Mad_Cyril wow!

I was going to say Sgt. Pepper too, so……

      Queen’s ‘Greatest Hits’

Sgt Pepper doesn’t sound particularly great now, but it was truly seminal. It does boast some amazing tracks like “a day in the life”, but it hasn’t aged as well as say Revolver or Rubber Soul which are both timeless. Still, I bet it was fucking mind blowing at the time. Think of what came before and after it.

Cankles-McJeggings I used to love that as a teenager. Could not imagine myself putting it on in any circumstance now. I also skip Another Brick in the Wall when listening to Pulse (my main Pink Floyd regular, since it works as a best of and has the whole of Dark Side of the Moon performed).

zackster And as far as mixed albums go…

Not sure about that ‘stand’ you’ve got it on.

Smallman1 snapped that in your flat, as you well remember. Took the place of this iircc.

          Any album by The Beatles.

Not sure if they sold enough to be classed as overrated, but they always come up the ‘100 Albums You Have To Hear Before You Die’ polls, so could add Lou Reed - Revolver and The Velvet Underground & Nico.

Anything by Depeche Mode. Just can’t stand his voice
