Israel Palestine
Earlier in this thread I did acknowledge that Hamas actions on October 7th were horrible. Last time you made the same argument.
alistair It’s not a different argument at all. I think it’s a given that the vast majority of people condemn Hamas for their part in this disaster and by not mentioning doesn’t mean you support Hamas or have sympathy for their cause - that’s an absurd position to take.
Yeah, I’m pretty sure nobody here needs to be convinced of the fact that Hamas are absolute cunts.
Hamas
Hanners
Hammers
Coincidence?
Alistair saw the Piers v Corbyn interview and thought fookin’ brilliant that.
Are people still going for the ‘you want a cease fire so you must be anti semetic / a peado / a transvestite’ route?
nicksneddon Sadly yes. Another argument is that a ceasefire merely give me Hamas more time to regroup and re-arm. I doubt Israel would think about doing that themselves though, right?

I’m stealing this for the next time I’m attacked on here. It’s definitely around the jc level and fits the debating style perfectly.
alistair The fundamental difference here is Palestine has a population that is 50% under 18, and the death toll has been consistently 50% under 18. And you can put your October 7th Hamas terrorism blinders on all you want, but there is no forgiving the death of nearly 5000 children over the last month. This is nothing short of state sponsored terrorism by oppressors who have been wheeling and dealing land grabs for over half a century.

Bit fucked off with all this children bollocks if I’m honest HG. Comes across a bit ‘whiny liberal’ and slightly patronising.
Murdering anyone is off really, doesn’t matter if they’re old / young / black / white / Welsh etc…
General observation by the way, not specifically targeted at you.

Homegrove It’s just that the children’s deaths are so galling because people keep saying the people of Gaza voted for Hamas. In 2006.

People on here - with comments like the above - are acting as if the allies shouldn’t have bombed Germany and marched on Berlin, and instead tried to broker a ceasefire, because not every German civilian would have voted for the Nazis in 1933 (before they also then turned their country in to a totalitarian, one party, single ethnicity state which invaded its neighbouring country and wished for the extermination of all Jews).
