As far as I can tell those death figures are pretty much accepted by both sides. Itâs something like 0.65% of the entire population, which is obviously horrifying.
The key thing to remember though is that Hamas inflicted this on the Palestinian people when they deliberately targeted and massacred women and children. Normal Palestinians never wanted this and they need to be liberated from Hamas, which sadly means violence since you famously canât negotiate with these people.
