benson Attempted to “fix” a slow drip of water under the bathroom sink last week.
After misdiagnosing the source of said drip which involved the replacement of multiple “flexible hoses” I ended up ripping out the entire fucking mixer tap and replacing the lot.
LEARNINGS: Plumbing is phyicsally and mentally challanging, and a waste of the ameture’s lifeforce. It necessitates contorting your spine whilst being viewed as subhuman non-plumbing scum by the the bloke in screwfix.
