alistair I’ve never doubted his abilities behind the decks. The man’s been at it for over 30 years so he should be proficient at his craft. It’s his taste in music that’s lost me. Maybe it’s to my own detriment that I haven’t moved with him in terms of the music I mostly like and listen to, but I’d rather enjoy what I’m listening to rather than feel the need to move with the times and find new sounds that other people aren’t playing (which he’s always professed to seeking). Doesn’t matter to me how much better a good sound system makes a track sound compared to on a recording, if it’s still crap, it’s still crap. Subjective obs…
