      Well that depends on your idea of better. If that means you get a load of performative instagram DJs waving their arms about like cunts without worrying about musicality, then yeah.

      The same can be said about producers using presets. You just end up with more shite to wade through.

          I found the USB export painfully slow this time - but it didn’t do that in the Beta testing.

          An hour ago I found out why, and the fix.

          Some of what this guy does is handy as fuck - he’s worth a follow and developed some non subscription based tools to manage databases across different brands https://www.atgr.nl/ (Mac only).

                In some ways Live Streaming made being in the moment harder because there was so much to think about and the devices / connections would conspire with each other to break for no reason at random.

                  It’s a good question. From a sample size of one, my youngest, he goes clubbing reasonably often, but he doesn’t give a shit who it is, or where it is, or even the genre - I’d imagine he’s just getting smashed to bits. He doesn’t listen to much music either, despite everything I taught him

                      SM001 At least a few years ago you’d have 2 x USB sticks and backed up with 20 odd cds just in case they played up.

                                Both gigs went fine technically (not checked the recording for Sat yet). Friday played with an USB-stick on XDJ1000s, Saturday with my XDJ700s on a laptop with Rekordbox DJ. Both times with the version 7.0.

                                Ran through Platinum Notes
                                Retagged everything - really just artist, tune and artwork
                                Then mixed in key wrote over everything so back to retagging
