1) some people actually really like breaks, rather than merely tolerating it
2) there are some not bad breaks tracks that don’t sound exactly the same as each other

ArchimedesQ …at it’s best when cunningly weaved in and out of 4/4 IMO. Too much of any one thing becomes dull pretty rapidly

Unbroken1 Totally. Best used as a tool to mix things up a bit. This current resurgence of bog standard prog fodder with a continual holden esque bassline and a breakbeat underneath is just as naff as it was first time around. It’s lazy.
