bosstrabs lol!! I still return to it every now and again …..the surges of energy from the crowd at the breakdowns ….

baggers44 Without listening back, or checking the tracklist, I recall he played Mauro Picotto - Lizard and it went off absolutely massively.

Sasha dropped BBE - 7 Days which also tore the roof off.

benson somebody played energy flash at matter as the last track on their warm up set.

At least she pitched it down to -8 so it could be more warm-uppy 😆

Dave’s unlimited effusiveness for this topic and his disdain for crasher kids always make me suspect that he actually was one.

It’s ok if you were Dave. We all did silly things when we were young. It doesn’t make you any less of a person.

      Never a Crasher kid.

But I did, shamefully, wear Acupunctures, use glowsticks and at one point twisted my hair up into spikes.

        Why “shamefully” Dave?

Should we feel shame because of things we did when we were young and experimenting with different identities?

C_J Queuing up at Don Valley Stadium for NYE was an experience and a half. Still can’t get over how those Crasher kids looked. One guy with spiky green hair was sucking a dummy, had a see through backpack with a little teddy and a little bed, presumably for when teddy got tired.

When did you start experimenting with pastels, Dave?

Millsy Pastels were dead the minute Rhouses and Smallman hopped on.

I’m doing royal blue and Kelly green nowadays - bold colours for a bold new era!

Them cruncher kids really were bellends. I had some good nights in there, none of them were due to them cunts.

I think what happened was that a couple of people started doing it and they got a load of positive attention (i.e. sex) so others started trying to emulate them and then it started escalating as they competed to outdo one another. I guess it’s just another example of peacocking, ultimately.

C_J Should we feel shame because of things we did when we were young and experimenting with different identities?

Are you calling me gay or something?

I went to one of those so called legendary PVD 6 hours sets. I don’t care what anyone says he cannot put a coherent set together to save his life. He was all over the place. I thought that it was just me, but then Dave Haslam wrote a whole chapter about him in his Wheels Of Steel book.

Dry-Tinder Yes, I also thought 2 hours of PvD was more than enough.

The 1st hour was always the same bpm and same crescendo-ing formula as the 2nd hour.

                  bosstrabs

I saw him a couple of years ago at Gods Kitchen at Crane and he was shocking.

Dry-Tinder agree. Never ever got the hype with him. A couple of great remixes admittedly, but not a great dj. He won the dj mag award one year didn’t he (when it meant something)

hugopal @LT42 called someone a “melt” in the RIP thread only a few weeks ago.

Just to fuck with your ASSBURGERS I did a search in that thread and can’t find myself ever writing this word, because I wouldn’t. So dragging me into this conversation must mean your ASSBURGERS is out of control. You fuckin ASSBURGER cunt.

LT42 Just to fuck with your ASSBURGERS I did a search in that thread and can’t find myself ever writing this word, because I wouldn’t.

I falsely mentioned what thread it was in, but:

LT42 …swing voters don’t vote every 4 years based on how good or bad clips are, you fucking melt

                      Oh dear… 🤔
