Amps Old-Dutch The resale value of vinyl is nowhere near enough to cover the nostalgic / emotional value for me. This is partially the issue, wont be shifting anything too nostalgic, but have other bits i think i can live without.
Amps Dan Interesting, I played mine out, but only a couple of times, I think its in almost mint condition… I’ll probably get £10.01 for it 👍️
IndustryStandard This place is near me in Kent and i’ve been a few times. Decent shop. Sure they’d give you a fair price if you want to do a job lot. https://www.decktronix.co.uk/
Mad_Cyril IndustryStandard From website…. “ 90s Merchandise Weird Stuff Joblots Posters Clothing and Bags” Weird stuff is always a winner!
apyssjw While my vinyl is generally unsorted, I put all the super crap records I’ll never even look at again on its own shelf. I’d happily sell those. Am still buying small amounts of vinyl, maybe five a year. It’s a complete indulgence.
Amps Dan Ppppfffftttt! You might want to have a go at turning base metals into gold at some point, you clearly have a talent.
Smallman1 Dan I’ve signed Blue Ray of the Refracted gig I know someone on here who will be interested in that.
Amps A quick search seems to show that DVDs and BluRays have held their value about as well as vinyl, and that is to say, not at all. Hanners is just creating more plastic lanfill, the monster!
Dan Just sold £140 worth to some geezer in Chicago. Shpongle (lo step edit) Red Rack’Em More Red Axes stuff! And some old Tiger & Woods edit…. All vinyl only releases.
Amps Dan Shpongle (lo step edit) What price did you have on that? FYI, the Shpongle stuff, in general, is boss psychedelia.
Amps Dan The flip side, which I think is the opening three tracks from that Shpongle album are power. It plays like one long morphing track. I played that more than the Lo Step mix.
gcw I have the Sasha Ibiza vinyl pack, never opened or played and in mint condition. Can’t believe the ebay price, I’ll deffo be selling it!
