lol he is literally the definition of a toxic boss. He fired an employee for going to the press with the story that Tesla workers were not allowed to call 911 for workplace injuries without managerial approval in an attempt to keep their horrific working conditions under wraps. After firing the poor bastard, Elon then called the local sheriff’s department and said that they guy had a gun and was coming to shoot up the Tesla plant. Turns out the guy was in a different state and never owned a gun.

zackster further to my above post, from looking at the study referenced in the tweet, it was indeed created in relation to looking at the behaviour of employees, and not CEOs.

But even when you look beyond that, aspects of it seem rather bogus and counter-intuitive for what it’s trying to claim. Caps about buying Twitter because its filled with shitposters dunking on him.
Makes an insane offer, and it is accepted.
He tries to back out by putting forth the effort of a frat boy the night before a philosophy paper is due.
A Delaware Chancery Court forces him to complete the purchase.
Elon sells Tesla stock to comply with the court ordered mandate, thus tanking the stock’s price.
He starts by firing everyone at the company who was complicit in forcing him to complete the purchase, and denies them their legally guaranteed severance. Law suit to follow, and we have seen how good he is at those.
Blue chip companies halt ad spending in light of Elon’s actions.
Elon announces Twitter Blue to offset the lack of revenue. Twitter Blue currently has 22,000 users. 14,000,000 users are required to service the debt.
Twitter announces a major ad buy from Space Ex, a publicly funded company that doesn’t sell consumer products.
Elon announces that Twitter may go bankrupt.

Fully buying into the theory that this all could end with Elon have a Robert Maxwell like tragedy.

Without delving in to how Twitter may or may not pan out (with it being very early days), even if it turns out to be a failure it doesn’t mean that the huge successes of Paypal, Tesla and SpaceX have never happened.

It’s like looking at Cristiano Ronaldo currently being crap for Man Utd and trying to claim that it shows he was crap all along and had never actually scored all those goals in his career previously at Utd and Real Madrid.
