LT42 Dan lol, I don’t know what you’re talking about. It just reminds me of semi naked, greased up volley ball players. Totally harmless.
alistair The Platoon soundtrack stirs up strong emotions. Loved that film when I was a nipper. Adagio for Strings, Dock of the bay and best of all Tracks of my tears.
jonattonyeah Listening to the Beatport Top 10 “Organic House” tracks for a laugh and they sound like they’re all gunning for a spot on the “Blood Diamond” soundtrack remix package. Awful.
alistair May have already been mentioned but Lost Highway is a great soundtrack and this is a highlight
Along_the_Wire Your taste in music is top-notch Alistair, so I’m all a bit confused with this NIN thing - don’t get it at all!
alistair Along_the_Wire just satisfies a different side of me. I think Reznor is a very innovative producer and sound engineer. There is a lot of depth and integrity to his electronic arrangements either with NIN or his film soundtracks, of which there are several excellent ones. Amazing live too. Realise they are not everyones cup of tea.
alistair Heno yep, I’d stand pretty hate machine and downward spiral up against any bands first two albums.
alistair Smallman1 I’d start with their first Pretty Hate Machine and take it from there mate. Production is slightly dated (it is 1989) but the songs are great IMO.
ArchimedesQ Smallman1 Pretty hate Machine - ‘Something I can Never have’ is one of the most emotive and angst ridden tracks ever put on tape. Talk about exorcising demons…….'
Dubman Kells77 Haven’t heard The Orb - Toxygene since I saw they played it live on the Oblivion tour.
