Millsy pretty normal for this airspace, Millsy. Aircraft flying south on the Potomac usually fly around the back of jets on final for 33 because its an RNAV approach. I’ve listened to the ATC audio and he was instructed to do so, gave a WILCO, but then didn’t. Hard to say right now but unfortunately it has opened all kinds of conspiracy doors for the oxygen deprived including “this is so weird, WHO WAS ON THE PLANE?” and “I SAW WHITE ORBS IN THE SKY JUST BEFORE THE CRASH.” Trump also throwing fuel on the fire for the mongs by asking the same types of questions knowing full well that this airspace has operated like this for decades.
