alistair bosstrabs me neither, just reminiscing. Remind me of my early clubbing years and they had a good clean sound. Rhythm is a mystery is a beauty
bosstrabs alistair The Fantasia Club Classics volumes were great for that sound, was really into those discs for a while when I first got into clubbing around 97. Lots of K-Klass and other ‘quality fromage’ (I suppose you could call it) on those. This got an absolute rinsing: https://www.discogs.com/Various-The-House-Collection-Club-Classics-Vol-2/release/947540
alistair bosstrabs check out that footage of 1990 Clubbing that I posted. A more innocent time with no smart phones!
Mad_Cyril Fantazia Discs; House Collection: Graeme Park House Collection 3 : Alistair Whitehead ‘The classics’, ‘jon pleased wimmin’, Mike Cosford et al were pony in comparison. File in same shit bucket as J××××y H×××y, B××××o and Pxxxy
Mad_Cyril Blimey. You’ll pick up the colloquial alignment with residential location of DJ at some point.
gcw The Graeme Park Fantasia mix is one of my all time favourites, the first CD that got me interested in ‘dance’ music. Mike Cosford - blast from the past - wonder what he is up to now?
Mad_Cyril gcw Mike Cosford - blast from the past - wonder what he is up to now? If there’s any justice he’ll be the fella who collects the portaloos from festivals
alistair Dug this gem up from my collection. Sounds as fresh as the day it was made. And that voice!!
nicksneddon Their remix of Caught In The Middle is pure handbag, however it’s got one of the greatest piano drops of all time and I love it dearly
alistair nicksneddon Love a little bit of classy handbag. An Alastair Whitehead night for instance would always guarantee a good looking dancefloor
bosstrabs alistair True but it always used to get incredibly boring/samey. In Cream you could escape the main room when it was handbaggy, the Annexe was always better anyway, but at a night like Moneypennys it was tedious.
