hugopal Dan It’s like medicine….. bit like Jägermeister. It’s nowhere near as pungent as Jägermeister. Not that I ever really drink fizzy drinks/sodas, but I quite like the taste of root beer but find Jäger rancid.

Dry-Tinder I’m heading back to L’Ortolan, somewhere I worked in 1990/1991. It’s closing down at the end of the month, so I thought that I would visit it. While I was there we won Restaurant of the Year and got 2 Michelin Stars. It’s nowhere near the calibre it was back then, but they were crazy times. Smallman1 Barrafina was absolutely awful. One of the worst meals I’ve ever had. A going to write to them and let them know.
