Kells77 Dubman Check out my friend’s band. You might like some of their stuff. No hard feelings if you don’t though 😂
Dubman Kells77 Sorry Kells that’s not for me but they do remind me of an old band but I can’t remember the name.
Kells77 Dubman No worries at all! 🙂 They remind me a LITTLE bit of some of the ska bands from the early to mid-90’s, like Less than Jake or Reel Big Fish, except no brass instruments.
303abuser Dubman i’m the same way, it’s really hard find any decent hip hop now. check out the joey badass ep from last month, it’s actually quite good.
Smallman1 Dj Python’s - Mas Amable and K-Lone’s Cape Cira are worth a whirl Kells. They fall into the ‘electronic’ category but give them a go.
SM001 Listen to Hip-Hop(hence the avatar!), Soul and Modern Classical stuff. I try and consume as much music as possible. Any recommendations on where everyone sources their music? Probably the most beautiful piece of music I heard in 20 years;
Along_the_Wire SM001 Mostly discover new music on here. I struggle to keep up with just my narrow view of music, let alone discovering new genres - fuck knows how you lot find the time to do way more than me. Retirement will be mint when it comes.
Millsy SM001 yeah, pretty much the same here. Love the classic soul sound. Would love to have been around when those tracks were being released.
rhouses SM001 mostly first-time listens on Spotify, if I like what I hear I purchase on iTunes. Got way too many playlists on my iPhone to give up on Apple.
SM001 Millsy Being a DJ during the Northern Soul era must have been great craic. A couple of mixes I did years back if anyone fancies a listen. Not much in the way of mixing just a bunch of tracks I enjoyed.
strummer SM001 Excellent stuff mate.Australia had a bit of a “Scene” in Melbourne+ Perth a few years back,
