Pulled the plug on a gaming PC the other day from overclockers.co.uk. Am quite excited about the new NVIDIA cards with MSFS 2020.

    Wasily same here, Wasily. İ can’t wait to be fully set up with this. Going to grab the Thrustmaster quadrant, side stick and pedals aswell. Gonna give the high octane games a rest for a while, smoke some choice herbage and relax.

        Good man! I went watercooled, 2x NVIDIA 3090’s via SLI. Expecting another big lockdown/ circuit break/ whatever the PR companies are telling them to call it, and will need to vent my frustration on some woke millenials- so DOOM Eternal, MSFS 2020, Farcry 6, Fall Guys and a few others I’m looking forward to. Just got my 240 Hz/ 1ms Samsung 49” G9 Odyssey via Korea now, and its a beaut so waiting for a build from OCUK.

                Along_the_Wire yep same with me. Always takes a few years for the new consoles to settle anyways, that goes for the pricing too

                  I gave cod2 a go as it was a Sony freebie. Never played a COD game. Now I can’t sleep. Genuinely think I have PTSD. Hold me.

                          It’s a full on riot at work today with the whole company trying to buy the new Xbox - I’ve been sitting back posting ‘hilarious’ pictures of black friday shopping riots to the company chat while enjoying my coffee watching the carnage.

                          Someone’s wait time in a queue jumped from 20 mins to 12 hours - they weren’t best pleased lol.

                          Same tbh - I’m just not seeing the attraction right now personally.

                                Are Bethesda really worth $7.5 Billion or have MS just paid well over the odds for them because of the exclusivity?

                                  Kumquat They didn’t buy Bethesda- they bought Zenimax Studios who own Bethesda (and lots of other stuff).

                                  I would say yes, it’s a really smart move TBH - they’ve went from having 5 of their own studios to about 20 over the last week with acquisitions and Bethesda includes some of the most beloved gaming franchises (Fallout, Doom, Dishonoured).

                                  They’ll either release multiplatform anyway (so even if you buy Sony, they still get paid) or they’ll put everything on Gamepass and market the fuck out of ’it’s 5 quid a month on Xbox, it’s 70 quid a game on Playstation’, or, they’ll just not release anything on Playstation which would be a big dint in Sony’s armor for sure - You’ll cut dev time and get higher quality games if they only have to develop on one platform for sure.

                                  Great move imo - put it this way - I was a Sony boy for sure - now I think I’m going to have to get both.
