I remember everyone I knew who was into clubbing raving about it at the time. For about 6 months it was our uni house’s warm-up to a big night out. That mix of Airacobra into Odessi was 😃

IIRC pretty much everyone was massively into the first four NuBreeds, and I liked Lee Burridge’s as well but that divided opinion.

Intriguing. How far along the running order are you upto by the time you’re bleaching the toilet brush? My guess is around track 14 “spencer krug - overactive” ❓️

Homegrove It’s a belter mix, but it does for the most part miss out to the Danny Howells one, but that is probably just because I love that mix.

Delighted to see that it it not overrated. The fact that it’s seldom if ever mentioned on here seemed telling to me.

Haha. I’m not very thorough cleaner so one CD usually does the job for the whole house. Except for the bathroom. That’s my wife’s job. I’m willing to do the rest of the house, but that’s her job.

Michael Mayer’s Fabric is one for me. It took me by surprise when I first got it, and it still a joy to my ears today 🙂 Even that terrible Easy Lee track lol

I could add Warren’s Prague to the mix. Re listened to it over the weekend, and it really sounds quite current. There’s actually a good amount of hard house on there. Also, it doesn’t suffer from the atrocious forced mixes that his other early live GU recordings did.

It’s from the following year and finishes with Ladytron, again only a two hour set from start to finish though - not a two parter.
