You just put me right off that Grant mate.

A far more easy watch was on the cards for my Saturday evening’s entertainment.

Voyagers (2021)
This is so badly rated that it must in some objective sense be genuinely shit, but I’m going to say that it was a perfectly decent entry in the lord-of-the-flies-on-a-space-ship genre, featuring some interesting actors: Colin Farrell (legend) Tye Sheridan (future legend) and (daughter of Vanessa & Johnny) Lily-Rose Depp (tidy).

I liked it, you probably won’t unless you’re stoned off your tits and just looking for something silly and fun unlike Grant who seems to only like watching dark shit that makes his flesh creep.

7.5/10

Along_the_Wire yeah I know mate. Ditto. I’m just perhaps a bit more easily pleased I think.

Titane is a real marmite job by the sounds of it.

Liked Titane. Not quite as shocking as I was expecting…. not as relentlessly grim as Possum.

Just watching the Birds on Sky Arts, fair fucks to the team doing the effects on it, looks brilliant considering the age of it.

True Romance got a rerelease a year ago. But the blu ray + 4K blu ray cost like 40 €. So I waited for the price to drop. When it got to 30 € I got tired of waiting and got it. It was worth it, what a great fucking movie. I forgot how high everybody dialed their performance in the movie. Works great with the big bag of coke. They all went to it while making the movie it seems.

Fairly sure H would have watched it Diet Coke’d off his face.

Continuing going through the Rewatchables-list, next up was Inglourious Basterds. Christoph Waltz gets all the glory for this movie, but in his best scenes the opposing actor is also amazing. Namely the guy playing the farmer in the opening scene, and Melanie Laurent in the cafe scene.

Tony Scott’s Unstoppable from 2010. Why have I skipped this movie before? I loved it now that I finally saw it!

Prey. That was enjoyable. The British will love it because the French in it are absolute bastards, and nerds will love it because it’s an excellent Predator-movie that can exist as it’s own thing. I kinda wish I’d watched the Comanche-version (it’s in the extras in Disney+) instead of the English-one, and I really wish I could have watched that in a movie theatre.

3,5 severed spines out of 5.

Yeh must admit that it’s eagerly being awaited at ours. Not yet available on anywhere but cinema here though.

Homegrove I love how all of Tony Scott’s films are essentially the same. I enjoyed this.
