Rate The Last Movie you Watched
yeah i don’t expect much. it’s funny that after you mentioned how his wife edited the first 3, it became so obvious as to what (who) the problem is. those fx scenes added to the originals do absolutely nothing to make the films better, it’s like watching an interlude you didn’t need.
Dan really? I thought they filmed it around Canary Wharf?

Animal Mother is one of the greatest characters of all time. Does so much with so little.
“Better you than me”
EDIT: I don’t remember him being in much else but he has a decent filmography. Independence Day. Next of Kin. And of course a few Law & Order episodes. Requirement for a “working class” actor.
jonattonyeah thought he was good in Firefly and then Serenity for Joss Whedon..thought that would have been on your geek radar.
Brandon Cronenberg’s Possessor. An absolute WTF of a film. A 4 gores out of 5.
Henry thought it was really good too. Very messy in places!
I was just about to watch Antiviral, which was until now on Prime, and the feckers have pulled it. Serves me right for having it in my list for too long. It won’t be the first time their bastard algorithm has done that.
Yeah, Possessor is proper gore. Loved the effects which apparently weren’t CGI. Deffo needs another watch.
Andrea Riseborough is a class act. Great in ZeroZeroZero too.
Had a bit of an issue with Sean Bean….I do wonder whether everyone outside the UK sees him as having a posh English accent…bit jarring hearing his gruff Yorkshire voice in this.
Top stuff, Phil. Didn’t know about that. Will check it out now.
Don’t do much geek stuff. Just not into comic books or science fiction. I guess I enjoyed those Infinity MCU movies but that was more the spectacle of it all.
Star was added to Disney+ today, and browsed a bit, lots of old favorites that are not anywhere else, nothing high brow but lots of decent movies. Went with Grosse Pointe Blank.
One of my all time favorites I haven’t seen too many times, but could watch almost any day. Definitely John Cusack’s best movie, maybe even Dan Aykroyd’s (POP CORN!), but pretty much everyone shines on this one. The writing is also very good, could not believe how good some of the dialogue was. 5/5.
Homegrove love GPB….agree with pretty much everything…ace soundtrack too.
