Dark City (1998) - recommended to me as decent sci-fi - enjoyable watch, but it’s a bit of a mess and has so many plot holes. 6/10
Project Wolf Hunting. Lots of bad people trapped on a ship with an experimental Japanese super soldier left over from the war. Hilariously violent and very enjoyable.

Sisu A Finnish John wick who is a gold digger during the 2nd world war takes on the Nazis. A pretty violent caper. 7/10
Duel (1971)
I’ve always loved this, and hadn’t seen it in a while. The concept, the cinematography, the lack of dialogue. 9 horn toots out of 10 IMO
gcw Brilliant film. Put Spielberg on the map. Masterful the way he builds tension and reveals little, a technique he hones to perfection in Jaws.

rhouses it was me, and no not yet.
rhouses yeah enjoyed that … by the same director as Handmaiden… preferred the latter, although still a good and very atmospheric watch

Thought it was really good. No wokeism, proper boys own tale, really well done.

John wick 4 Started off Very slow but then it just kicked off massively so much so I got bored with it. 6/10

Amps I quite enjoyed the 3rd film but their just so exhausting to watch.
On that note, i caught a two second glimpse of one of the Fast and Furious films the other night as I was channel hopping… I had no idea all the cars were CGI, or more to the point, jarg CGI.

Just watched the first one, not bad, I liked it in the same way that I liked Mad Max, it just got on with it and did what it said on the tin; no cunt boring on for half an hour about his feelings just as it’s getting going. Not sure the world needs four of them though.
