I’ve always loved this, and hadn’t seen it in a while. The concept, the cinematography, the lack of dialogue. 9 horn toots out of 10 IMO

Started off Very slow but then it just kicked off massively so much so I got bored with it. 6/10

On that note, i caught a two second glimpse of one of the Fast and Furious films the other night as I was channel hopping… I had no idea all the cars were CGI, or more to the point, jarg CGI.

Just watched the first one, not bad, I liked it in the same way that I liked Mad Max, it just got on with it and did what it said on the tin; no cunt boring on for half an hour about his feelings just as it’s getting going. Not sure the world needs four of them though.

Mad_Cyril looking at my Letterboxed-diary and I got nothing this year, Banshees was probably the only new indiesh-movie this year, and that was dividing people. I did watch the 2011 Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy very recently for the 5th of 6th time and noticed new stuff still, so that’s always worth a rewatch.

Mad_Cyril You might have seen it but Athena on Netflix went under the radar a bit I thought. Riot in a French suburb after 13yr old boy dies. Not much story but it’s got some great action sequences and some amazing camera work.
