Mindhunter on Netflix is a very good show. About serial killers and the advent of criminal profiling. “The Social Network” is one of the best movies of the 2000’s. Then there’s “Fight Club” and “Seven”. I like “Panic Room” as well but I think his best movie (outside of TSN) is “Gone Girl.” At least that’s my favorite.

Panic Room is underrated
Mindhunter is brilliant.
SM001 I didn’t love the way the time jumped forwards so quickly at some points. I know there was a lot of ground to cover, but made it feel a little stilted at times. I’m also not sure I benefited from knowing a little about the Zodiac history as well. The section where they’re investigating their prime suspect loses some of the tension, if - well, you know…
Zodiac is a superb film. People wanting the perfect ‘we caught the killer’ ending need to stick to the fast and furious franchise.
Just back from Tenet. Same audio complaints as everyone else. Think about 50% of the dialogue passed me by due to environmental or musical racket going on which meant I didn’t really have a clue what was going on.
I didn’t really connect or care about any of the characters but it’s very entertaining if a little overwhelming with the amount of noise and blam! going on. Looks gorgeous. Might get better on another watch I guess. 7.5 Entropy Inversion Machines / 10
Do recommend wikipedia when you’re watching Mindhunter, it’s a lot more entertaining and the long speeches make a lot more sense when you’ve got context of what the various serial killers have done. Struggled without it when i watched S1 the first time.
Nothing enhances ones viewing pleasure than constantly checking Wikipedia for contextual info.
I love a film that sets you homework.
mono-stereo all of them. he’s my favourite director
‘The Game’ doesn’t get enough praise as a Fincher top drawer flick imo.
Yeah fantastic film
As enjoyable as it is far-fetched.
