Makes perfect sense, the lads are not up to scratch at the minute, so giving them the Vuelta and Giro respecitvely allows them a target later in the year to aim for.

It does feel like the end of an era though, one which I am glad to see the back of to be honest. Hopefully this year there will be some healthy competition between Bernal, Primoz etc

Jumbo are the new Sky. They’ll win the Tour this year. Froome and Thomas are well out of form, but so is Bernal

Tour is looking good this year - got today’s sprint stage in my eye-line - don’t normally like sprint stages as it’s only the last couple if minutes that ever seem to matter, but today’s is a belter so far. It’s blown the green jersey wide-open.

Been enjoying this year and agreed Team JV are the way forward. Wout is a monster

I’ve also been enjoying the tour this but am I only who doesn’t really understand how the scoring actually works.

Hirschi 80 kmph going downhill. Nutter.

Class stage today and great finish, so close for Hirschi!

    Hursty
Pipped at the post. All that hard work to finish 3rd.

So Team Sky have finally begun there descent back into the ranks. I’ll give them one more season before the team folds or is bought out and renamed.

Massive kudos to Jumbo, they have an amazing team, van Art up that climb yesterday was devastating, what an absolute machine he is to drop big name climbers like that.

Podgacar is also an absolute beast, so young and without much help, I can see the GC going all the way.

    loving it

Hursty Big day on the Queen stage today. I’ll be watching while working from home of course!
