Jules72 Almost anyone who works in law enforcement will tell you laws are fairly pointless unless they are consistently enforced.
So to add bad laws to the statute book that we donāt have the intention or resources to enforce is really just a ridiculous waste of time.
Itās not something the UK is generally known for, itās more what happens in developing countries who havenāt quite grasped the idea that simply adding more stuff to the statute books doesnāt automatically make people follow laws. In fact, it just becomes a shakedown opportunity for bent cops who selectively enforce to get backhanders.
