Yep, that still literally sounds like ADHD. (It could be, not saying defo)
Anything shiny, instantly fun or urgent like gaming or socialising gets all the focus. Anything we ‘should’ do, doesn’t, because there’s an issue with dopamine that gives us the feeling of reward for normal tasks.
There’s a lot of cross over with symptoms of ADHD and autism and I try to understand autism as well. Just bear in mind that I am looking from an ADHD perspective.
Just because a parent doesn’t yet understand it or doesn’t want it to be something doesn’t mean the kid ain’t got it.
