Old-Dutch you’re rather narrow-minded if after having read this thread that’s still what you regurgitate.
First, different “medical professionals” say different things - the politicians will often just pick and choose whichever ones will help support their agenda. Governments are using this as an opportunity for further their control over society and steer it in to different, more expedient directions. There may be some long-term benefits to society, but there will also be a significant amount of damage. Governments seem to have figured that they can get away with this damage though with little harm to themselves.
Second, the data from medical professions has shown that for people aged 35 and under covid poses no more risk than flu. Many of the government’s decisions will use the virus as an excuse for decisions which are principally political and which they can choose to respond to differently.
Third, as I’ve repeatedly pointed out, the restrictions that remain will likely not only be on holidays.
