Along_the_Wire yes you “can still get bad symptoms”, but what if you don’t? i understand this is a really specific scenario, but i would assume the answer to my question is that there isn’t a difference. i’m not a medical expert so, that’s where i’d like benson or someone with similar knowledge to weigh in.
i’m not one to jump to hugo’s defense, but i think he makes some valid points. there needs to be a balance between what’s good for public health and individual freedoms. i’m not anti-vaccine by any stretch, but pretending we know what the potential long term consequences of a vaccine that hasn’t been through long term safety trials and is using novel technology is just ridiculous. giving up freedoms for the public good is often a slippery slope and the power structure doesn’t give these measures up once they’re in place, that’s been clearly demonstrated.
