Old-Dutch Sanofi have two vaccines in Phase II studies at the moment.
Can’t help but assume some of this is to give them a better chance of export orders if Oxford/AZ is undermined publicly.
The Oxford/AZ one is being sold at cost price, it makes sense that the French would be pissed off that that will undercut some potentially massive export revenues for their national champion.
That, to me, seems the most likely driver of this.
