LT42 he has moved on with his life, Z. I know first hand from people who know him personally that he isn’t as bad as he used to be and he is indeed now a health conscious do-gooder who would put Hursty to shame.

Edward levels of delusion going on here…

I’ve been bushwacked, thanks lads lol

Can any of the resident healthcare workers confirm this? (you can translate inside the app I believe)

      LT42 bushwacked

Semi retired, has retrained as a psychotherapist.

LT42 that was before the pick up in cases…. so he has that to cling onto

Jules72 yea, almost a full 2 months before the surge in cases and on the same day Modi declared “a full and total victory in the fight against Coronavirus” with schools, festivals, weddings and gatherings in full operation - but lets blame a German techno midget for the disaster because he played a gig in Liverpool nearly 3 months later. Makes sense.

I don’t begrudge him the Liverpool gig in the least. I just think he is a shitty dj who runs/ran shitty record labels, and I would never EVER assume something is safe just because Sven fucking Vath is doing it.

In fairness, on the evidence I’ve seen its always looked like top notch gear

…have I missed something? Is Elliot Eastwick suddenly the arbiter of what is and isn’t ‘groovy’ these days?

Funny choice if so, bloke seems to love getting himself in the middle of a ruck from what I’ve observed of his online behaviour over the last 10-years or so

Unbroken1 I haven’t followed him for long or seen all his output, but on this subject he has been quite vocal in calling people out, I don’t think he has particularly gone after anyone. Refreshing that he hasn’t tried to protect his reputation in any way.

…all he seems to do is call people out, about anything, gets his teeth into something and won’t let up, lost count of the number of people he falls out with/gets blocked by

He’s got a point about the plague rave djs like Solardo though.

…I’ll take your word for it Dave, not really been following who has been playing where tbh, agree that it sends out the wrong signal for DJ’s that have never really stopped travelling/playing throughout a pandemic to be prominent on line-ups now.

More an observation of the messenger really, wondered why EE had been quoted so many times on the board over the last few weeks

              He’s not been holding back

As long as ICU capacity is fine, dunno why anyone is fussed. Those of us blessed to live in countries with a strong public health infrastructure, everything is being monitored very closely. Might have a pop up or a flare up here and there, but as long as we have the means to treat them, so be it. We cannot keep living under restrictions forever. If the NHS and the University PH systems think going LARGE with YOUSEF banging out FREE at CIRCUS is okay, I would by okay with it, too.

Brazil and India are having problems? Fucking shocking.

One of our first conference calls, over a year ago, India was the biggest worry. SFO was looking at terminating travel due to the heavy Indian tech population in the area, their constant travel to-and-from, the population density in their country, the border with China, and their poor health infrastructure (SFO did not restrict travel - likely due to political and legal pressure). The only thing surprising there is how long it took for it all to break down. I’d also guess it’s been bad for a long time, but as journalists have been allowed to be back in and do their thing, we’re finally hearing about it. But that’s just conjecture.

jonattonyeah We cannot keep living under restrictions forever.

Agreed. I took/take this as seriously as anyone I know, but putting all the burden on the people is criminal. We hid inside for a year over a known virus that we could have had a globe’s worth of vaccines for on day one, IF we actually gave a shit. I personally think elimination was the way to go, but as you clearly and correctly stated: that was never realistic.
