baggers44 Yes? I think if you were going to get into production and want to start with some hardware, this would be a good choice. There’s a definite learning curve with elektron, I don’t it’s not that bad though (it’s definitely not an octatrack). The only real drawback is the lack of polyphony, but there are work arounds for that.
The sequencer is second to none, it’s got analog drums and fx, you can easily create drums/percs/bass/leads/chords. It’s a bit of a greatest hits machine for elektron, a jack of all trades, which I think makes it really useful. About the only thing it doesn’t do is sample, but that’s not a drawback for me.
Also note, I’m a massive elektron fanboy, so take that into account.
