If I was stuck on a desert island with Big Fella and a Cadbury’s Cream Egg, Id eat Big Fella and talk to the cream egg.

Homegrove Mando is defo slowly getting better, but Andor is by far the best of the new Star Wars stuff followed by Bad Batch

I know Mando isn’t Boba Fett, but I can’t get away from the armour and that the original character with that look was a Man With No Name / Eastwood trope. Seeing loads of them on screen at the same time, just kills it. As for the Barbie Mandalorians, they’re so badly executed.

Wrong direction for the characters. You don’t need to see the shark.

Amps nope. Not seen the first one either. Just found said post on a film-group in FB amusing.

Amps Boba Fett was horrific tbf, I don’t mind seeing more than one, the Armourer and Bo-Katan are kinda essential really to the narrative and the fact the some survived is cool. Hopefully they don’t overuse them

Agreed, Andor was superb, it set the bar very high

erik I just wish they’d never made it.

Jonathan Majors just beat up and choked his girlfiend (not in the fun way).

Sandman, quite like the writing, but the main actor is a bit kack and the art direction is cheap as fuck. Worth a watch though for Jenna Coleman alone.

Wife and I enjoyed Guardians 3. It was James Gunn on stereoids, so if you don’t like his stuff, this won’t be for you even if you like other comic book-movies.

Really enjoyed GotG3 - Great final flick from Gunn for Marvel.

I like the 2nd one with Kurt Russell.

Watched 3 today, not a patch on 1 or 2 imho, but still a bloody good movie

Stupendous cast did not save the first episode of Secret Invasion (thought Olivia Colman and Samuel L. Jackson’s verbal sparring scene was awesome, apparently they’re friends in real life and Colman has actually wanted a role in the MCU for some time, Jackson sorted it out). Might get better, but the hoped Andor of MCU it is not yet.
