Eh? That person doesn’t know what they’re talking about. That ruling is about qualified immunity which is something I have. If I fuck up at work I cannot personally be sued. Now my work can be sued for my actions, but not me. This ruling reinforced that for border patrol. The government can still be sued for the behavior of border patrol, you just can’t go after the individual agent.
Now you can argue the merits of this, I can see both sides, but the idea that they can just do whatever they want isn’t true.
There’s plenty of issues in this country. No need to make up new ones that don’t exist or confuse people for no reason. Dunno what she’s trying to do other than muddy the waters.
