Kells77 Just cooking for yourself or your family isn’t the only thing that will save you (although it definitely helps). I cook really well for myself….very healthy food as well….I’m still fat. It’s about balance and moderation.

Kells77 303abuser Totally. I love IF. Unfortunately with some new meds I’m on, I can’t do it properly. Longest I can go is 10 hours 👎🏼 I made some really good strides while doing IF though! Highly recommended. Still gotta watch what and how much you’re eating, but closing down that window you’re eating in really does help.
303abuser Kells77 it’s generally tougher for women than men. i can do 16 hours with no problem, but my wife can only handle 10-12 and i think that’s pretty normal. it’s also way easier if you’re on keto because your body burns fat for energy so you can go much longer without eating.
Kells77 303abuser Yeah I used to do 14 hour fasts, and that was kinda my sweet spot, but because I have to eat within 30-60 minutes of waking now, it’s harder to get that 14 hour window into my day. My main plan of attack these days is trying to eat healthy fats, lots of veggies and fish, and a much smaller portion of meats. I’m also trying to limit grains to 1-2 meals per week. Basically a Mediterranean diet, with even less carbs. 🙂
303abuser Kells77 that’s a pretty good plan. my limit for keto is 5-6 days a week, 16 hour IF at least 5 days a week, eat what i want 1 or 2 meals per week. as long as i’m active, that keeps my weight within about a 3 lb range. i just don’t have the will or energy to get down to 10-13% body fat so i’ll settle for reasonable lol.
