A lot of comments said why would you buy these, and a mixer, instead of a XZ.

Although I guess those comments miss the fact that the CDJ-3000 is not meant for home use.

Homegrove A lot of comments said why would you buy these, and a mixer, instead of a XZ.

Because it looks like a Fisher Price toy?

Amps at over 2g’s each, I’d expect them to come with Sky Sports, Netfix and a hotplate for your coffee!

Homegrove I know, I have a bit of a bee in my bonnet about the all in ones, I’m only teasing. I’ve never used one so I can’t really say what they are like, but I’ll bet they’re boss for home use.

…those Thorens decks are absolute pigs to mix on

All the jizz wouldn’t have helped.

Seeing as you can’t get stanton 500al mk2 cartridges anymore. What’s a good cartridge to get. I’ve never used ortofon Concorde’s but they seem very popular.

Dubman The Ortofons are really durable, I didn’t notice much of a sound difference with them but then again I didn’t have an expensive monitor set up at the time either.

Unbroken1 Nice, I’m only interested in an original 70s one though… lol etc.

Amps …well the ‘shell’ of that one is an LE (the Soundcraft reissue from 2000′ish), but it won’t make much difference in this case, I believe he’s done similar work on original 70’s/80’s Ureis. Every single internal component will be an upgrade, Justin at Isonoe knows his stuff. Details here:
