An artisan potato fryer near me has the following on their menu;

Traditional Curry
Irish Curry
Chinese Curry

Traditional is bland and has what might be raisins in, though difficult to tell if it’s just not been stirred properly. Might be better off calling it Weak Sauce.

The Irish Curry has a decent kick and is a little ‘fruitier’, despite lacking the ‘raisins’ of it’s ‘Traditional’ cousin (and any other fruit of note)

Chinese is slightly darker, less spicy, and possesses that slight tang of a shitty 5 spice blend and fuck loads of MSG.

All in all, the Irish wins out comfortably, if one rolls that way.

But I’m from the North, and unless I’m trying to impress some fancy lass, prefer Gravy on my Chips Butty.

    bosstrabs I just went back and finished that video. He goes back in and gets a deep fried cream egg. Comes out to his car, which is covered in peas and gravy, and wolfs it down. What an awesome guy. I bet he smells wonderful. I could listen to him say “butty” on repeat.

      Have to be honest, usually do neither curry nor gravy as I’m usually having fish. Ruins the batter IMO.

        Jeffrey epstein and adolf hitler are the only two people in the history of mankind not to have curry sauce with their fish supper. Dave just added himself to the list.

        Also, i don’t think anywhere near enough caps have been doffed in zacko’s direction. His relentless pursuit of deflecting attention away from the absolute fucking state of american “cuisine” is next level. Keep fighting the good fight, brother…

        I’m with Dave and Hitler - no curry sauce, or even gravy with a fish supper. Salt and sauce on the chips and a side of mushy peas is all that’s required here

          Curry sauce with fish is just plain wrong. ‘Ok’ with chips (But not in a chips butty), but I prefer gravy with chips if given the choice. Heil Haddock etc.
