What events/gigs have you bought tickets for?
hugopal Herbie Hancock will be good.
I propose herewith that one gets on a train to Newcastle on the morning of the 21st May to welcome Anthony back.

mono-stereo Herbie Hancock will be good.
Seriously? They’ll be wheeling the bloke out.
Also, it’s jazz - the only interesting bits were sampled and made to sound more entertaining in other songs.
If someone mentions Herbie Hancock my only impulse is to stick this track on:
I’m so tempted by this but I’m near London and it’s just a bit too far, I’m hoping he has a London date booked in
Joris in Leeds cancelled. Fuck sake. Guess it didn’t sell the tickets. Meh.
That’s a blessing Wal.

As
gcw it’s somewhere in Scotland, us in Newcastle, or Ireland as far as I can see.
If you are on the fence there are trains that are 2hr 50mins from kings cross and then it’s a five minute walk to the right
My mate who comes to these things with me just isn’t feeling the trip sadly, I’ll have another crack at him and let him know that he’s not doing a London date.

alistair Bonobo, Pet Shop Boys, Foals, Avalanches, Fontaines DC, Sleaford Mods, Jessie Ware and Caribou for starters
Bonobo would be alright for lying on the grass to. Not very exciting though.
Pet Shop Boys suck.
Foals have been crap for ages (since after ’My Number"). Their latest album seems dreadful.
The Avalanches had a great album 20 years ago, and don’t really seem like they’d be that interesting live.
Fontaines DC and Sleaford Mods are just a no from me. Bunches of whiners.
Jessie Ware? Erm, lol. Also seems her biggest song was 7 years ago.
Caribou - had two hits 7 and 12 years ago. Recent stuff sounds cheesy. Saw him 7 years ago at a day festival and he was really dull, just aimless middle-of-the-round electronic noodling for an hour until he played ’Can’t Do Without You’ and the whole crowd was like thank god that last hour was over.
Cheer up Hugo!
I can see a role for Hugo at the afters, when I want everyone to leave.
