zackster Ice hockey. Not currently playing again but plan to get back into the barn for the first time since COVID in Jan 22. Usually play once a week.
ScottBailey zackster nice! I skate pretty regularly, but not sure I’d be so confident trying to shoot pucks. Might have to give one of the local hockey ‘start up’ courses a go one day for a laugh.
Dubman Mountain biking although that’s slowed down a bit lately but hoping to get out this weekend. Seriously thinking about getting a Emtb but can’t afford 6k for a half decent one.
RichM Indoor football with the dog, golf on the phone, arguing with the wife. They are my main sports these days. Should probably think about a proper one. Used to love a bit of golf and tennis. Just not played them in years
Wally I would be playing five a side footy every week if it wasn’t for covid and working from home nuking it so just running.
Millsy Playing team sport is becoming mildly depressing as my old limbs sieze up and younger, fitter players have that extra burst of speed to get past me. I do more coaching than playing nowadays. Not really a sport, but I am loving calisthenics currently.
IndustryStandard Millsy With you there. Im 47 and would still love to play football but its embarassing. That said, playing footy for a couple of hours a week and giving it some drops a load of weight. Prior to lockdown when I was in Nashville was playing footy at lunchtime 3 times a week and once at the weekend and was the fittest ive been for years. All gone to shit since then…..
Mad_Cyril I try to play golf most weeks, but am rubbish at it. Do a bit of cycling with the family, but not worth calling a sport. Also have some running trainers, which are still box fresh.
Along_the_Wire seanc80 if you think that’s getting a fucking rise out of me, you can think again, you cunt.
Hursty Ultra running mainly at the moment, no team sports unfortunately. Would love to play footy but Sunday league is fucking carnage, don’t fancy the injuries
