hugopal I think itā€™s just one girl.

Yeah, Mixmag look less and less relevant these days.

Iā€™m always mildly amused at the idea of hardcore, happy or otherwise, making a come back, or even being a thing anywhere on the planet.

Amps I think itā€™s just one girl.

ā€œTheyā€ can also be used to refer to any singular person.

Amps Yeah, Mixmag look less and less relevant these days.

Even when music mags were big, Mixmag was always the trashiest. Itā€™s therefore been no surprise to me that the few times Iā€™ve happened upon their online presence in recent years theyā€™ve generally been pushing nonsense.

Absolutely love this. Played it at an outdoor party in september and it went off

hugopal It was always house related with a token interviews with other genres.

Muzik was much betterā€¦. especially in its first few years.

Jockey Slut was also a decent read.

Yeahā€¦ but does it not sound a bit mad?

Such an uplifting track that just builds up with minor key changes, vocal snippets and that piano rift.

alistair Iā€™d be lying if I didnā€™t say the same, on repeat since you posted that clip. Makes me want to do drugs.

On a more chiller vibe, PNAUā€™s seminal remix of Elton John and Dua Lipaā€™s Cold Heart. Will post when Iā€™m back on the laptop.

Dan will definitely give it a listen. Satoshi Fumiā€™s Lotus would be in my top 10 for the year and I remember you playing that in an earlier mix

            alistair ooh, I donā€™t know. Remember M8?

            I donā€™t.

            Dan Muzik was much better

Yeah, I regularly bought Muzik as well as DJ Mag.

              ?

Dan a bit before my time, but pretty cool. Not sure why ā€˜Fragileā€™ had to be cut at the end there.

I know Iā€™ve posted it before, but this is easily one of the best giveaway CDs ever; still an excellent mix:
