  • Chemical Brothers - Desert Island track

alistair possibly. They came on after Oakenfold had destroyed the place.

I have tried to get into their stuff, it’s just not for me

A clear pattern is emerging, those who like the Chemical Brothers are high performing alpha’s whilst those who don’t are low t loosers who need to double up on the ole nugenix.

alistair lol a real blast from the past. I think he was on the roster, Matt Hardwick deffo was. Wonder what happens to these guys

Scott Bond is now a Kwik Fit mechanic.

The hierarchy of live British dance act duos, from the golden age, is as follows:

      1. Underworld
      2. The Orb
      3. FSOL
      4. Orbital
      5. The Prodigy
      1. Basement Jaxx
      2. The Chemical Bros.

Ed driving to Printworks, with Frank Thomas mounted on the front of his car Fury Road style, to see Hector Oaks.

Smallman1 Exactly. The fuck, Zack! 😅 The Prodigy can fuck off. Like Daft Punk they turned into a novelty band after their first two albums.

Leftfield are fine. The Orb are legendary. Not surprised to see this place doesn’t rate them.

Does Roni Size/Reprazent not qualify? They were a can’t miss for me whenever they came around this way.

jonattonyeah Personally I don’t count them, no. If I did, I would have them above all on that list, save possibly Underworld, but ever that is TBD. Am a massive massive fan. I’d guess New Forms has a track on my radio show on a monthly basis.

…fucking hell. Getting so much wrong in a single post.

Damo rating Basement Jaxx higher than anticipated

I rate really rate The Orb. Seen them live twice in the 90’s. I will admit some of their albums have been very hit’ n ’miss. I believe there doing a 30 year anniversary show of U.F Orb in the summer.
