That’s fuck all compared to somewhere like Cairns, they get a meter in a day sometimes. It’s about how you deal with it, how much there is is largely irrelevant. What you don’t realise is that unlike the shitty UK with their archaic Victorian drainage systems the diameter of a bog roll, you can stand up in the storm drains here and being costal means it all fucks off into the sea pronto. Even within a few minutes sometimes you would hardly know it had rained. It only goes pearshape where they’ve been fucking with river systems and dams. Most of the floods you see on the TV have been caused by diverting or not diverting river systems and basins. It’s a big political subject here. Plus I live up a hill anyway so don’t really care either way.
