Any reason why I can’t log in at the minute?

I just logged in, it seems ok on their side.

Tre bizarre, site just won’t load properly in Chrome, had to break out Firefox to get in.

Fair play, getting some wild ping times out of Firefox. Tenterhooks.

I still use classic.beatport.com. Am I alone with that? Just kinda curious.

I hung onto it for a good while, but then found the multiple shopping baskets really handy and switched.

Any of you lot do a DJ profile on there with a regular chart etc?

    Haven’t bought anything from them in years. With bandcamp and direct from artist/label sales, I have no real reason to. I also find I buy way less throw away shit that I will never return to.

      zackster ditto, but they still have some exclusives, and I’m not one who can wait two weeks in a lot of cases.

        zackster I’m not mad keen on the Bandcamp layout, Beatport is decent for recommending other tracks and I use the charts quite a lot too. Is there anything doing the kind of artist support of Bandcamp with the DJ focus of Beatport?

            Amps not really. I don’t ever really use the whole “if you like ____ then check this out!!!” function tho.

              Had a look at the also bought on some top notch dark prog released this month and last. What a load of pony they were… And none of the also boughts were from this year. Made me think it’s used to get rid of any sponsored tripe they had.

              Gonna retract part of my earlier statement… having given it some thought, the ‘decent for recommending other tracks’ is bollocks. I’m nearly always using the charts above anything else. I do like that they cram more on the page though compared to Bandcamp, it ain’t pretty, but it does make navigating a bit easier.

                Gap in the market for the JC Digi Shop if ever there was one.
